Swedish pop star Sara Strand has always followed her passions. At age 11, she called Sony Executives and left singing messages in hope of getting a record contract. Once she became a major recording star, she toured Europe and became inspired by the colors and elements of being onstage. She decided to partner with her makeup artist sister, Petra, and aesthetician sister, Sofia, to create Pixi Cosmetics. Pixi was launched in the late 90’s, and soon after Sara decided to venture out. She wanted makeup line that was more funky, and vibrant and she founded Pop Beauty. Pop cosmetics are packaged in bright colorful tins, with various colors and hues. Her most popular items are Eye Cakes, sheer washes of vibrant eye shadows. Sara believes Pop is for every girl, no matter what age, who wants something fun and edgy.
