Swimwear Spring-Summer 2010

Swimwear

Swimwear

Bikini, It array from attires premeditated to almost entirely cover the body to outfits designed to flaunt as much of the body as possible without actual nudity. Designer swimsuits are mostly designed for their models to pose on the ramp or out of water. There are many few designers which design them with the purpose of actual swimming. Here is one such swimwear collection from Sauvage for spring/summer 2010 that includes some fresh and fanatical swimsuits that can be worn just for posing for the models as well as for the actual swimming purpose.

Swimwear

Here is the first swimsuit which has a drape effect. This is for ladies who have breathtaking cleavage and are ready to flaunt it.

Bikini

This is a normal halter printed design which can be bought for wearing at the beachside. Sauvage has in this collection mostly emphasized on the cleavage by baring it all and just connecting the bikini or top portion with an accessory like a metal ring etc.

That is again a common design with a chained metallic halter. The framed overcoat type of thing is unique and diversifying this piece.

Above reminds me of a royal Roman lady who wraps her body such nicely with the cloth. Simply enchanting!!!!

That was a floral print swimsuit with an overcoat.

Six Boots for winter season

Shoes Fashion, Now that the snow’s banked high and winter shoes is officially in full swing, your fall footwear ain’t going to cut it anymore. We combed the market to find six must-see boots that can stand up to the slush.

I’m not the only one who thinks so—the Gap recently strapped these on the models for their winter campaign, causing widespread confusion when would-be shoppers couldn’t find them at the brand’s stores.

Alabama Christmas Tree

Christmas 2010

Fashion, Today is Christmas day, It’s often a fashion coup for a designer to get to dress a celebrity. But the latest get for Florence, Ala.-based designer Natalie Chanin of Alabama Chanin isn’t a movie star, it’s a tree. The designer was tapped—courtesy of Chicago boutique owner and unofficial Mrs. O stylist Ikram Goldman, who connected her with Desirée Rogers—to create the tree skirt for the White House Christmas tree. Chanin, her staff, and a crew of Alabama seamstresses worked for three weeks on the hand-beaded, 14-foot skirt, which was donated to the Obamas for the Blue Room tree (above). It took a team of 22 people three weeks to create the skirt’s intricate detailing (below), but, we suppose, when the POTUS calls, you get stitching quick. For the rest of us, a little more lead time is required; Chanin’s team is now taking orders for Christmas 2010. Something tells us she’ll get more than a few.

Indian Fashion, Animal Printed Sarees

Saree Fashion

Indian Saree Collection, I have never been much of a fan of animal print Sarees though I do think there’s a way to wear them tastefully. Since these types of prints are typically busy with small patterns, it’s best not to over do it. Here is one animal print Saree which fails to win my approval and one that makes the cut.

The print is overbearing and the exactly matching blouse washes out the beautiful woman underneath it all. There is no definition to the saree and the pallu looks like it belongs to a completely different saree. The same saree is available in red too.

Indian Fashion, Plain and embellish saree

Indian Saree Fashion

Indian Saree Collection, Sometimes the pallu saree just gets in the way of … showing off more skin… so you twist it make it in to a choker.

This design concept is a few years old, but it remains to be one of my fav, you take monotone, plain saree, embellish it all over with just tad of sequins, or may be small booties, and then have a spectacularly intricate or sizzling blouse.. and the the combo looks just absolutely great!
