All this is executed with a telling discipline, both formal and intellectual; not for nothing has Borba Margo landed the British Fashion Council’s prestigious New Generation Sponsorship four times, or found a place for its goods on the counters of shops such as Harvey Nichols and Colette. “We succumbed to our yearning for escapism,” explains Goransson of the impulse behind Borba Margo’s extravagant embellishment.
