eyeliner disappears tip of the day

Many people have the same problem: their eyeliner disappears after just a few hours! It’s a tough one, and it’s something that annoys all of us, all the time. You get ready to go out, you finish up your makeup, and 2 hours later in the bathroom stall you notice that it’s gone! What gives?

Prime Eye

Start by coating your eyelids with a primer, like MAC Prep and Prime Eye. This is a great product, and you just can’t go wrong with any MAC products- it’s my all-time favorite!

The primer will help because it will absorb the oil and create a matte base that your makeup can stick to. Just don’t put it under your eyes since the delicate skin can wrinkle.

Eye Stroke

Stroke a waterproof liner on the outer rims of your eyes where your lashes grow. Since the inner rims are moist, color will vanish easily. To maximize your eyeliner’s stay, top it with a shadow to set the shade.

If you still find that your eyeliner runs, try fashion tips. Although it is a little trickier to use, and you need a steady hand, the results are amazing.

Ban Fading Highlights

If you spend your days under the sun in the summer, you might notice that your summer highlights don’t last as long. To prevent your highlights from fading, add a handful of dried daisies to a pint of hot water and let steep for 20 to 30 minutes. Strain into a container and use this floral water as a final rinse to refresh fabulous blond highlights.

Get Rid of Stretchmarks

If you think you have to spend a ton of money on stretchmark creams, you’re wrong! There is an at-home remedy you can use to temporarily get rid of stretchmarks and here’s how: Mix one cup of plain yogurt with one tablespoon turmeric, and apply the paste from your stomach to your waist  rubbing it into your stretch marks. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and wash off.

Refreshing Exfoliator

This truly is an exotic at-home remedy that you can achieve at any time. Coconuts are known for having amazing properties, but the oil found in the coconut, is excellent for combating wrinkles and dry skin. or a gentle but rich summer exfoliator, try this Thai cocktail. Mix 1/2 cup ground rice with 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut and one tablespoon turmeric. Apply the thick scrub in a circular motion all over your body. Rinse and follow with your favorite moisturizer.

Cool Your Lotions

Applying heavy creams and lotions to your skin during the hot summer months doesn’t exactly feel refreshing. Just take your creams and lotions and put them in the refrigerator. Not only will it feel heavenly and refreshing, but this will also help with sunburns.

Use Tea as Toner

Brew a cup of peppermint or lemon tea and use it instead of a toner. Just dab a cotton pad into the tea and massage it gently on your face. The tea is excellent in helping with removing excess oil as well as shine.
