Zaheer Abbas; the emerging new talent of the fashion industry recently launched his pret label at “the designers” owned by Asad Tareen; along with a very talented upcoming designer Zainab Sajid.
Zaheer Abbas took Fashion Week by storm and in his second show which was sponsored by Veet; he stood out amongst the biggest names of the Fashion.
Zaheer & Zainab launched their new collections with a mini fashion show featuring Iraj Manzoor, Fauzia, Maha, Amna Ilyas, Zilehuma, Zeba, Saima and the show stopper Umaima Mallick. Hair and Makeup was done by Huma Tahir of Huma & Zara Saloon.
Zaheer Abbas showcased outfits from three different collections and all of them were cut oriented carrying Zaheer’s signature style of drapery. Silhouettes were very comfortable and airy. Zaheer Abbas combined his pieces with voluminous Jamawar trousers. The outfit adorned by Iraj Manzoor was certainly a trend setter which consisted of a short top, made in panels with pleated sleeves and worn with paneled jamawar pants.
Zainab Sajid opted to use animal prints in chiffon and silks, her evening line was heavily embroidered with crystals and sequences. Her color palate was bright with hues of purple, pink, red, blue and others. Her silhouette was summery with A-line pointed shirts. Most prominent were the last pieces modeled by Fauzia & Humaima.
It was an eye catching crowd full of socialites, celebrities, Electronic and Print Media .The PR and Media Coordination was managed by the rising talent Danish Gandhi.
Making the headlines: Asimyar Tiwana recently organised two shows in a row in USA. The one show was held in New York on july 4th and was titled Celebrations 2010 New York. This event was a joint venture of Asimyar Tiwana & Hamid Latif of Vidal Sassoon, New York.
The ace director and choreographer Asimyar presented fashion icons Umar Sayeed & HSY, Fauzia Hammad of Goal alongwith an upcoming brand Rani Emaan.
Styling of both the shows was done by Sobia Salon. Another treat for the audience was a classical performance by renowned kathak dancer Nighat chaudhry who performed on tarana by Amir Khusro. Celebrated anchorperson Ayesha Sana hosted these events.
